A Little Bit About Our Owner
Meet Derek O'Quinn
Derek O'Quinn is a Battlefords native that moved to Yorkton back in 2008. Offsite Welding was created in 2005, after Derek completed his welding course at Lakeland College and worked the farm equipment fabrication line. After that, he went on building and maintaining storage tanks for the Refinery businesses over Western Canada. Derek is a Journeyman Red Seal Intraprovincial Welder with his B pressure and CWB tickets. Safety has always been a priority to Offsite, so Derek hold his Confined Spaces, H2S, Fall Arrest and First Aid/CPR Tickets. Although Oil field work is where Derek is most experienced, his passion falls in the design and fabrication of the common homesteading and home projects. He encourages the challenging jobs and enjoys thinking outside the box!
